Starbucks opens a store inspired by the Edo era in Kawagoe

In the article The history of the Japanese beauty by the University of Nara, I shared my feeling that Japan is one of the countries can link the past and the future. Starbucks goes into this direction.

Take your coffee in a Starbucks with a unique environment.

Starbucks Japan recently announced the opening of a store on March 19, 2018 in Kawagoe inspired by the architectural codes of the Edo era (1603 to 1868).

City located in the prefecture of Saitama, there is a downtown from this period. Which explains the choice of Starbucks for the creation of this new coffee shop!

I find it’s an interesting idea! We just need to test and see the final result.
